Jay Tango is a New Jersey born musician who grew up on the Jersey Shore. He has performed for many years in several of the renowned shore area clubs in several different shore based bands. Jay attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston and has been teaching guitar on and off for over 40 years. Jay is a strong advocate of ear training with the application of music theory, as well as reading music. 

Jay currently performs as a soloist, duo partner for Jay and Amy, and is a freelance guitar player. In addition to club venues, Jay performs wedding ceremonies, private events, and care facility communities frequently. In addition to a wide variety of cover music genres, Jay writes and performs original music. He is known on social media as Jj Tango and performs throughout NJ
